Classical Meets Jazz

Four Flutes: Eileen Yarrison, Shan Liu, Sue Gleason, and Pei-Chun Lin

The flutes provide the classical side with works from the Baroque through modern periods: Bozza’s “Trois Pieces pour Quatre Flutes en Ut,” Boismortier’s “Concerto IV pour Quatre Flutes,” and Briccialdi’s “Quartetto il La Maggiore” -- while our jazzers play a set of original tunes (and more), including Passler’s “Junebug” and Baldwin’s “Gavotte Rag.”
