Emma Gildesgame, Climate Adaptation Scientist for The Nature Conservancy in Massachusetts, will discuss how nature based solutions can help reduce climate-fueled stormwater pollution, strategies for building equity into climate adaptation, and how we plan climate adaptation projects to bring multiple benefits to people and nature. Examples will come from TNC’s current work in the Merrimack watershed, nutrient pollution work on Cape Cod, and urban coastal climate resilience near Boston.
