You’re invited to join NRWA naturalists for a free “Early Fall Migratory Bird Walk at Jewell Hill” in Ashby, MA.
When: Wednesday, September 14 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Where: Jewell Hill in Ashby, MA. We’ll meet at the designated parking area at the top of the hill on Crocker Road, past the house and barn. Best route, use Rindge Road to Crocker Road to stay on paved surfaces. View Google map.
What: Join Nashua River Watershed Association naturalists for a morning bird watching adventure at Jewell Hill, a scenic Trustees property in Ashby, MA. Learn about the eight keys to bird identification and refine your skills. This two hour program is for beginners and seasoned bird watchers alike!
Details: This program is intended for adults. The wide trail has some moderate uphill walking. For the comfort of all, no dogs are allowed on this walk. Bring your binoculars, favorite bird ID book, good hiking shoes, and come ready to explore! NRWA will provide additional pairs of binoculars to those in need.
