SAVE THE DATE - HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DAY
 
Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Tyngsborough DPW, 87 Kendall Road (Route 113).
 
Dunstable and Tyngsborough residents can safely dispose of your household hazardous waste! Proof of residency is required (driver’s license or utility bill).
 
Acceptable Items Include:
Paints, stains, thinners, fuels, car batteries, pool chemicals, aerosol cans, fluorescent lights (no ballasts), and more.
 
Not Accepted:
Electronics, ammunition, asbestos, latex/acrylic paint (can go in trash when dried), alkaline batteries (trash), syringes, and appliances.
 
Items Accepted with a Fee (Cash Only):
• Propane tanks, fire extinguishers, and tires (no oversized/commercial)

Be Safe When Transporting:
• Use original containers
• Tighten caps
• Label all containers
• NEVER MIX CHEMICALS
