One-Day Artist-in-Residence with Christopher Gosey

Iconographer Christopher Gosey will spend the day varnishing his icon of St. Tekle Haymanot, which was featured in the special exhibition Icons for Our Time: Orthodox Art from Around the World. Christopher will be available to answer questions about Ethiopian icons and icon painting. At 1:00pm he will give an informal lecture on his work as an iconographer, focusing specifically on his early work using the encaustic method. LEARN MORE.
