“The theme for this concert program is storytelling,” says Maestro Bruce Hangen. “We all know that reams have been written about West Side Story's connection to Romeo and Juliet, and the movements in Mother Goose will remind us all of our own childhoods.” He adds that the themes in Rachmaninoff's beloved concerto have been used to tell many a story, from classic films to popular music.
