The Chapter Seven benefit concert

The Chapter Seven Band, which formed three years ago with the sole purpose of performing a fundraiser show for the Wound Warrior Project, is happily back at it again, for the 3rd Annual Chapter Seven Family Friendly Concert.

The concert will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at the Townsend Rod & Gun Club, located at 46 Emery Road.

This is a free concert; however, donations will be greatly appreciated to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project began in 2003 as a small, grassroots effort providing simple care and comfort items to the hospital bedsides of the first wounded service members returning home from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As their post-service needs evolved, so have the programs and services.

Today, through direct programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care, along with advocacy efforts, the project has improved the lives of millions of warriors and their families.
