Job Title: Manufacturing Value Stream Manager

Location: Leominster, MA

Job Type: Full-Time; On-Site

Reports To: Manufacturing Manager

FLSA: Non-Exempt

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Value Stream Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong background in plant management, profit and loss (P&L) control, and technical engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving efficiency, improving productivity, and ensuring the highest quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve operational excellence.
  • Analyze and optimize value streams to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L to ensure profitability.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure that all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Work closely with other departments, including engineering, supply chain, and quality, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, financial metrics, and improvement initiatives to senior management.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in plant management with a strong focus on P&L control.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certifications.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
